Professeur des Universités associé en Endodontie, le Professeur Thierry Roos est diplômé de la Faculté de Chirurgie Dentaire de Strasbourg, où il est également Chargé de cours et attaché aux hôpitaux universitaires de Strasbourg au service d’ endodontie et d’odontologie conservatrice. Ancien Président de la Société Française d’Endodontie Alsace, il est également membre du comité de rédaction A0 News.
Très tôt orienté vers l’endodontie, il rejoint la Société Française d’Endodontie dès 1985 et part se spécialiser aux États-Unis. Pionnier de l’endodontie moderne en France, il a introduit la technique de Schilder à la gutta chaude, participé au développement de la rotation continue, de la microchirurgie sous microscope opératoire, de l’utilisation des ultrasons, du laser et de l’imagerie 3D.
Il a fortement contribué à l’intégration du des techniques au microscope opératoire en endodontie dans les années 1990, au sein de la Faculté de Strasbourg, dans l’équipe du Pr Haykel. Auteur de nombreuses publications internationales, il poursuit une activité intense de formation continue en France et à l’international (Canada, USA, Israël, Maroc, Tunisie, Suisse, Allemagne, Belgique).
Membre fondateur du CPEA – Cercle Parisien d’Endodontie Appliquée, il collabore également avec l’industrie pour le développement de nouvelles technologies. Très impliqué au sein d’Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, il en a été Président Alsace, Directeur Europe (2003–2007) et Régent Europe depuis 2007.
Le Pr Roos exerce en libéral dans le quartier de l’Orangerie à Strasbourg, aux côtés du Dr Léo Roos et du Dr Éric Koch.

Associate University Professor in Endodontics, Professor Thierry Roos graduated from the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Strasbourg, where he also serves as a Lecturer and former staff member in conservative dentistry. He is the Former President of the French Endodontic Society – Alsace Section, and a member of the editorial board of A0 News.
Early committed to endodontics, he joined the French Endodontic Society in 1985 and pursued advanced specialty training in the United States. A pioneer of modern endodontics in France, he introduced the Schilder warm gutta-percha technique and contributed to the evolution of continuous rotation systems, microsurgical endodontics under the operating microscope, ultrasonic instrumentation, laser applications, and 3D imaging.
In the early 1990s, he was among the first to implement and teach the use of the operating microscope in both surgical and nonsurgical endodontics within the Faculty of Strasbourg. He continues to lecture extensively at national and international levels (Canada, USA, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium) and is the author of numerous international publications.
Founder member of the CPEA – Parisian Circle of Applied Endodontics, he actively collaborates with the dental industry in developing innovative technologies. Deeply engaged in Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, he served as Alsace President, European Director (2003–2007)and European Regent since 2007.
Professor Roos currently practices at the Clinique de l’Orangerie in Strasbourg, together with Dr Léo Roos and Dr Éric Koch.
Le Dr Léo Roos est chirurgien-dentiste à Strasbourg. Diplômé de la faculté de chirurgie dentaire de Strasbourg et titulaire d’un Diplôme Universitaire d’endodontie avancée obtenu à la faculté de Gênes, il oriente une grande partie de son activité vers l’endodontie, domaine dans lequel il s’investit particulièrement, tout en continuant de proposer l’ensemble des soins dentaires courants.
Il possède également une compétence en chirurgie implantaire, acquise grâce au cycle complet de formation Evolyou, lui permettant de proposer des solutions fiables lorsque la conservation d’une dent n’est plus possible.
Parallèlement à son exercice, il anime le Club Odontologique Européen aux côtés des Drs Eric Koch et Thierry Roos, une organisation dédiée à la formation continue et au développement des connaissances en dentisterie moderne.

Dr. Léo Roos is a dental surgeon based in Strasbourg. He graduated from the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Strasbourg and completed a postgraduate training in advanced endodontics from the University of Genoa, Italy. A significant part of his clinical practice is dedicated to endodontics, a field he is particularly passionate about, while he continues to provide comprehensive general dental care.
He is also trained in implant surgery through the full Evolyou training program, allowing him to offer predictable treatment options when a tooth can no longer be preserved.
In addition to his clinical work, he co-leads the European Odontological Club alongside Dr. Eric Koch and Dr. Thierry Roos, an organization focused on continuing education and the advancement of modern dentistry.
Le Dr Eric Koch est diplômé de la faculté de chirurgie dentaire de Nancy, où il a acquis des compétences fondamentales en dentisterie. Poussé par sa passion pour ce domaine, il a poursuivi sa formation avec un Post Graduate en Implantologie et Parodontie au New York University College of Dentistry, approfondissant ses connaissances sur les dernières techniques et innovations. Son intérêt pour la régénération des tissus l’a conduit à obtenir un diplôme du Urban Regeneration Institute, spécialisé en techniques avancées de régénération osseuse et tissulaire dans la thérapie implantaire. De plus, il a suivi une formation certifiante à l’Institut supérieur de dentisterie clinique, axée sur la chirurgie muco-gingivale, parodontale et péri-implantaire. Enfin, conscient des évolutions technologiques dans son secteur, il a également obtenu un certificat en dentisterie numérique.
De plus le Dr Eric Koch est spécialisé en endodontie sous microscope et microchirurgie endodontique depuis 25 années.
Il est également impliqué et intervenant dans une organisation de formation continue dédié au développement des connaissances en dentisterie moderne, le Club Odontologique Européen, au coté du Dr Léo Roos et Pr Thierry Roos.
Son parcours est ancré dans une quête perpétuelle de perfectionnement, visant à offrir à ses patients les soins dentaires les plus récents et les plus efficaces.

Dr. Eric Koch graduated from the faculty of dental surgery in Nancy, where he acquired fundamental skills in dentistry. Driven by his passion for this field, he continued his training with a Post Graduate in Implantology and Periodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry, deepening his knowledge on the latest techniques and innovations. His interest in tissue regeneration led him to graduate from the Urban Regeneration Institute, specializing in advanced bone and tissue regeneration techniques in implant therapy. In addition, he completed a certifying training at the Higher Institute of Clinical Dentistry, focusing on mucogingival, periodontal and peri-implant surgery. Finally, aware of the technological developments in his sector, he also obtained a certificate in digital dentistry.
Moreover, Dr Eric Koch has specialized in endodontics under a microscope and endodontic microsurgery for 25 years.
He is also involved and intervenes in a continuing education organization dedicated to the development of knowledge in modern dentistry, the European Dental Club, alongside Dr. Léo Roos and Prof. Thierry Roos.
